10.1 Range Desiccant Dryers

How does it work?
The principle works on moist compressed air flowing over the desiccant beads inside the cylinder.
The beads absorb the moisture preventing water ingress into your downstream air equipment.

How long before Desiccant change?
Every application varies on Ambient, Humidity, Flow and Duty. If based in Darwin and a high compressor load cycle, you should change every 6 to 12 months. Based in a low humidity area and/or low duty area, you should change every 12 months.

Should I install close to the Compressor?
No, please position the Dryer as far from the compressor as logistically possible. This allows the hot air to cool (vapour into condensate) which will be removed in your Moisture Separator prior to Desiccant Dryer.

Does every compressor produce water?
Yes, no matter what the brand, all air compressors will produce moisture. How much depends on the Ambient, Humidity, Flow and Duty.

Compact and easy to use, the 10.1 range of desiccant dryers suit a range of applications such as;

  • CNC
  • Spray painting
  • Edge banders
  • Plasma cutter
  • Dairy
  • Air tools
  • Nailing guns
  • Dust collectors
